स तेन लग्नेन तदा द्विजातिर्न शशाक ह

sa tena lagnena tadā dvijātir na śaśāka ha

Fastened and held by that attachment at that moment, the twice-born man was unable to act or proceed—his resolve was checked by what had seized him.
