स्वागतं कुशल चास्मै पर्यपृच्छद्‌ यथातथम्‌ | उस समय राजा युधिष्ठिरने बलरामजीको हृदयसे लगाकर उनका स्वागत किया और यथोचितरूपसे उनका कुशल-समाचार पूछा

Transliteration

svāgataṁ kuśalaṁ cāsmāi paryapṛcchad yathātatham |

Translation

Sañjaya said: King Yudhiṣṭhira welcomed him and, in a fitting manner, inquired after his welfare—honoring him with due courtesy and concern, as dharma requires toward an honored elder and guest.
