तथैव ते समासाद्य पप्रच्छुस्तमनामयम् | प्रत्यभ्यर्च्य हली सर्वान् क्षत्रियांश्व॒ महात्मन:
tathaiva te samāsādya papracchus tam anāmayam | pratyabhyarcya halī sarvān kṣatriyāṁś ca mahātmanaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: In the same manner, they approached that blameless one and questioned him. After duly honoring Hali (Balarāma), those great-souled men also paid respectful homage to all the kṣatriyas present—upholding the courtesies and ethical decorum expected even amid the pressures of war.
