Educational Q&A

Even in wartime, dharma expresses itself through proper conduct—welcoming guests, honoring elders, and maintaining royal decorum. Respect is shown not because conflict is absent, but because ethical order is upheld amid conflict.

The assembled kings receive Balarāma with formal honors and then invite him to witness the battle, addressing him respectfully as “mighty-armed,” indicating his stature and the significance of his presence.
