तथैव चोद्यतगदौ पूजयामासतुर्बलम्‌ | नरेश्वरर! भीमसेन और आपका बलवान पुत्र दुर्योधन इन दोनोंने गदाको ऊँचे उठाकर बलरामजीके प्रति सम्मान प्रदर्शित किया

Transliteration

tathaiva codyatagadau pūjayāmāsatur balam | nareśvara! bhīmasena āp kā balavān putra duryodhana in donoṃ ne gadā ko ū̃ce uṭhākar balarāma-jī ke prati sammāna pradarśita kiyā |

Translation

Sañjaya said: “In the same manner, with their maces raised aloft, Bhīmasena and your mighty son Duryodhana paid homage to Balarāma. Even amid the heat of rivalry, they observed the warrior’s code of honoring a revered elder and master of the mace.”
