संजय उवाच
The verse foregrounds Yudhiṣṭhira’s identity as dharmaputra—reminding the listener that even in warfare, speech and action are weighed against dharma, and counsel given to a righteous king carries ethical stakes.
Sañjaya narrates to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Śalya turns to speak to Yudhiṣṭhira, marking a transition into dialogue or instruction that will influence the unfolding events on the battlefield.
