द्योतयन्तो दिश: सर्वास्तव सैन्यं समनन््ततः । भारत! उन दोनोंके छोड़े हुए वे बाण सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको प्रकाशित करते हुए आपकी सेनाके चारों ओर गिरने लगे
dyotayanto diśaḥ sarvāstava sainyaṃ samanantataḥ | bhārata! ubhayor dvābhyāṃ muktais te bāṇāḥ samantād diśaḥ prakāśayantaḥ tava sainyasya paritaḥ patitum ārabdhāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “O Bhārata, the arrows released by those two blazed so fiercely that they lit up every direction. Falling all around, they began to rain down encircling your army—an ominous brilliance that turned the battlefield itself into a spectacle of relentless violence.”
