दक्षिणे तु महाराज सुषेण: सत्यसंगर: । वृतो रथसहस्रेण दन्तिनां च त्रिभि: शतै:,महाराज! दाहिने पैरके पिछले भागमें एक सहख्र रथियों और तीन सौ हाथियोंसे घिरे हुए सत्यप्रतिज्ञ सुषेण खड़े किये गये

dakṣiṇe tu mahārāja suṣeṇaḥ satyasaṅgaraḥ | vṛto rathasahasreṇa dantināṃ ca tribhiḥ śataiḥ ||

Sañjaya said: “On the right flank, O great king, Suṣeṇa—steadfast and true to his battle-vow—was stationed, surrounded by a thousand charioteers and three hundred war-elephants.”
