त॑ चक्ररक्षौ पाउ्चाल्यौ युधामन्यूत्तमौजसौ । अन्वयातां महात्मानौ विशन्तं तावकं बलम्‌,आपकी सेनामें प्रवेश करते समय उनके पीछे-पीछे पांचाल वीर महामना युधामन्यु और उत्तमौजा चक्र-रक्षक होकर गये

Transliteration

taṁ cakrarakṣau pāñcālyau yudhāmanyūttamaujāsau | anvayātāṁ mahātmānau viśantaṁ tāvakaṁ balam ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: As he entered your army, the two Pāñcāla heroes—Yudhāmanyu and Uttamaujā—both great-souled men, followed close behind him as the protectors of the chariot-wheels, guarding his rear and ensuring his advance into the Kaurava host.
