इत्यहं विलपन् सूत बहुश: पुत्रमुक्तवान् | न च मे श्रुतवान् मूढो मन््ये कालस्य पर्ययम्,सूत! इस प्रकार विलाप करते हुए मैंने अपने पुत्र दुर्योधनसे बहुत कुछ कहा, परंतु उस मूर्खने मेरी एक नहीं सुनी। अतः मैं समझता हूँ कि कालचक्रने पलटा खाया है
ity ahaṃ vilapan sūta bahuśaḥ putram uktavān | na ca me śrutavān mūḍho manye kālasya paryayam, sūta ||
Thus, O Sūta, lamenting again and again, I spoke many words to my son. Yet that deluded one did not heed me at all. Therefore, O Sūta, I think the wheel of Time has turned against us.
