Educational Q&A

Dhṛtarāṣṭra asserts that the Pāṇḍavas are naturally disposed to uphold dharma and will remain on the righteous path when properly guided; ethical conduct is sustained by right counsel and legitimate moral authority.

In the midst of the war narrative, Dhṛtarāṣṭra reflects on the Pāṇḍavas’ receptiveness to instruction and claims he has relatives whose words the Pāṇḍavas would accept—implying that mediation or guidance through respected elders/kinsmen could influence their course toward dharma.
