इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत अभिमनन्‍्युवधपर्वमें षोडशराजकीयो- पाख्यानविषयक सत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargata abhimanyuvadhaparvaṇi ṣoḍaśarājakīyopākhyānaviṣayakaḥ saptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Thus ends the seventieth chapter of the Śrī Mahābhārata’s Droṇa Parva, within the Abhimanyu-vadha section, dealing with the episode concerning the sixteen kings. The colophon signals the close of this narrative unit, marking a transition in the war-chronicle where the consequences of Abhimanyu’s death and the surrounding accounts are formally concluded for this chapter.
