Educational Q&A

Sustained generosity does not truly impoverish the giver; rather, it yields ‘akṣaya’ (inexhaustible) results—enduring resources, strengthened faith, lasting good reputation, and continuing merit—culminating in the highest heavenly reward.

Nārada delivers a boon-like assurance: the person addressed will retain undiminishing wealth despite continual giving, will gain enduring faith, fame, and merit, will become beloved of beings, and will ultimately attain the supreme heaven.
