तत्र तत्र च संग्रामे दुर्योधनहितैषिणा । बहवश्च जिता: कर्ण त्वया वीरा महौजसा,“कर्ण! इनके सिवा और भी जहाँ-तहाँ संग्राम-भूमिमें दुर्योधनका हित चाहनेवाले तुम महापराक्रमी शूरवीरने बहुत-से वीरोंपर विजय पायी है
tatra tatra ca saṅgrāme duryodhana-hitaiṣiṇā | bahavaś ca jitāḥ karṇa tvayā vīrā mahaujasā ||
Sañjaya said: “There and there across the battlefield, O Karṇa, you—mighty in prowess and ever seeking Duryodhana’s welfare—have conquered many warriors.”
