धृष्टद्युम्न पलायस्व सह पाज्चालसेनया । सात्यके त्वं च गच्छस्व वृष्ण्यन्धकवृतों गृहान्,*धृष्टद्युम्न! तुम पांचालोंकी सेनाके साथ भाग जाओ। सात्यके! तुम भी वृष्णिवंशी और अन्धकवंशी वीरोंको साथ लेकर घर चले जाओ
Transliteration
dhṛṣṭadyumna palāyasva saha pāñcālasenayā | sātyake tvaṃ ca gacchasva vṛṣṇyandhakavṛto gṛhān |
Translation
Sañjaya said: “Dhṛṣṭadyumna, withdraw at once—flee together with the Pāñcāla army. And you too, Sātyaki, depart for home, escorted by the heroes of the Vṛṣṇis and the Andhakas.” The utterance conveys an urgent counsel of retreat, prioritizing the preservation of remaining forces amid the moral and strategic exhaustion of battle.
