0 ते दिश:ः खं च सैन्यं च समावृण्वन् महाहवे । मुहूर्ताद् भास्करस्येव लोके राजन् गभस्तय:,राजन! जैसे दो ही घड़ीमें सूर्यकी किरणें सारे संसारमें फैल जाती हैं, उसी प्रकार उस महासमरमें वे बाण सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं, आकाश और समस्त सेनाओंमें छा गये
te diśaḥ khaṃ ca sainyaṃ ca samāvṛṇvan mahāhave | muhūrtād bhāskarasy eva loke rājan gabhastayaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: In that great battle, those shafts spread out and covered the directions, the sky, and the armies—just as, O King, within a brief moment the sun’s rays pervade the whole world.
