Shloka 126

विमोक्ष्ये कवचं राजन्‌ सत्येनायुधमालभे । “राजन! मैं सत्यकी शपथ खाकर अपने धनुषको छूते हुए कहता हूँ कि “युद्धमें पराक्रम करके समस्त पांचालोंका वध किये बिना कवच नहीं उतारूँगा”

vimokṣye kavacaṃ rājan satyenāyudham ālabhe |

Sañjaya said: “O King, I swear by truth, touching my weapon: I will not remove my armour until, having displayed my prowess in battle, I have slain all the Pāñcālas.” The vow underscores a warrior’s binding commitment, where truth is invoked as a moral witness even amid the violence of war.
