Sañjaya said: “O Pāṇḍava, let the others slay the remaining Rākṣasas, acting under your command.” The line underscores disciplined warfare: even amid chaos, action is to be guided by rightful leadership and ordered instruction rather than uncontrolled violence.

Educational Q&A

Even in war, force should be exercised under legitimate command and disciplined coordination; righteous action is framed as duty performed through proper authority rather than impulsive violence.

Sañjaya reports an instruction addressed to a Pāṇḍava leader: the remaining Rākṣasa fighters are to be dispatched by others, explicitly acting under that leader’s orders.
