tataḥ samabhavad yuddhaṁ tumulaṁ bharatarṣabha | pāñcālānāṁ ca sarveṣāṁ bharatānāṁ ca dāruṇam ||
Sañjaya said: Then there arose a tumultuous battle—terrible in its ferocity—between all the Pāñcālas and the Bhāratas, O bull among the Bharatas.
