Sanjaya said: Bhimasena, having neutralized all the arrows released from Duryodhana’s bow, struck that Kaurava king with twenty-five shafts. The scene underscores the relentless logic of battle: skill answers skill, and the warrior’s resolve is measured by restraint and precision even amid fury.

In the ethics of epic warfare, prowess is paired with discipline: Bhima first counters the incoming threat (destroying the shot arrows) and then responds with measured force, illustrating controlled valor within kshatriya-dharma.
Sanjaya reports that Duryodhana shoots arrows at Bhima; Bhima destroys or renders them ineffective and then retaliates by piercing Duryodhana with twenty-five arrows, intensifying the duel amid the Kurukshetra battle.
