tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ drauṇirākṣasayor mudhe

Translation

Sañjaya said: Thereupon, in that battlefield clash, the fight began in earnest between Droṇa’s son (Aśvatthāman) and the Rākṣasa.
