Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how fearless conduct in a righteous but violent arena provokes collective counteraction: courage can inspire awe, yet it also draws coordinated resistance. Ethically, it points to the tension between individual valor and the pragmatic strategies of many in war.

A single warrior is seen moving about the battlefield without fear. In response, the allied kings unite and encircle him from all directions, attempting to contain or overwhelm him through numbers and coordination.
