Sañjaya said: All this took place before the very eyes of Bhīmasena, the Haiḍimba (Ghaṭotkaca), the son of Pṛṣat (Dhṛṣṭadyumna), the twin brothers (Nakula and Sahadeva), Dharmaputra (Yudhiṣṭhira), Vijaya (Arjuna), and Acyuta (Kṛṣṇa). The line underscores the suddenness and inevitability of the calamity in war—events unfold so swiftly that even the foremost heroes and the divine charioteer witness them without being able to prevent them in that moment.
