सो5भवद् गिरिरत्युच्च: शिखरैस्तरुसंकटै: । शूलप्रासासिमुसलजलप्रस्रवणो महान्,वह वृक्षोंसे भरे हुए शिखरोंद्वारा सुशोभित एक बहुत ऊँचा पर्वत बन गया। वह महान् पर्वत शूल, प्रास, खड्ग और मूसलरूपी जलके झरने बहा रहा था
so 'bhavad girir atyucchaḥ śikharais taru-saṅkaṭaiḥ | śūla-prāsāsi-musalajala-prasravaṇo mahān |
Sañjaya said: He became like a towering mountain, its peaks thickly crowded with trees. That mighty ‘mountain’ seemed to pour down torrents in the form of weapons—spears, lances, swords, and clubs—suggesting a battlefield where martial power replaces the life-giving waters of nature and where violence, once unleashed, falls upon all without discrimination.
