अमोघशक्तिव्यंसनप्रश्नः — Why Karṇa’s Śakti Was Not Used on Arjuna

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत घटोत्कचवधपर्वमें रात्रियुद्धविषयक एक सौ चौवनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargata ghaṭotkacavadhaparvaṇi rātriyuddhaviṣayaka ekaśata-catuḥpañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Sanjaya said: Thus ends the one hundred and fifty-fourth chapter of the Night-Battle section within the Ghaṭotkaca-slaying episode of the Droṇa Parva in the Śrī Mahābhārata. This closing colophon marks the completion of a grim phase of warfare fought under cover of darkness, where the usual restraints of battle are strained and the moral cost of victory becomes more visible.
