Transliteration

tamasā cāvṛte loke na prājñāyata kiṃcana

Translation

Sañjaya said: When the world was veiled in darkness, nothing at all could be clearly discerned—an image of how, amid the turmoil of war, perception and judgment themselves become obscured.
