Vāsudeva said: “Go quickly to those stainless worlds of Mine, ever radiant, which even Brahmā and the foremost of the gods continually long to attain. O performer of unceasing Agnihotra, enter them at once; become like Me—one who moves seated upon the excellent Garuḍa.”

Educational Q&A

The verse links steadfast ritual duty (unceasing Agnihotra) with a promised transcendent reward: entry into Kṛṣṇa’s pure, ever-radiant realms, attainable even beyond what the highest gods desire. It frames righteous practice as culminating in divine proximity and grace.

In the midst of the war narrative, Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva) addresses a sacrificer—identified in the accompanying Gītā Press gloss as Bhūriśravā—urging him to depart swiftly to Kṛṣṇa’s stainless worlds and describing an exalted state of moving like Kṛṣṇa upon Garuḍa, i.e., attaining a divine, Viṣṇu-like mode of existence.
