कौरवान् सहितान् सर्वान् गोग्रहार्थे समागतान् | यो5जयन्मत्स्यनगरे दिष्ट्या पार्थ: स जीवति,“विराटकी गौओंका अपहरण करनेके लिये एक साथ आये हुए समस्त कौरवोंको जिसने मत्स्य देशकी राजधानीके समीप पराजित किया था, वह पार्थ जीवित है, यह सौभाग्यकी बात है
kauravān sahitān sarvān gogrāhārthe samāgatān | yo 'jayān matsyanagare diṣṭyā pārthaḥ sa jīvati ||
Sañjaya said: “Blessed indeed that Pārtha still lives—the very hero who, near the capital of the Matsya realm, defeated all the Kauravas assembled together for the purpose of seizing the cattle. His survival is a fortunate sign amid the ruin of war, recalling a past act where aggression was checked and rightful order was upheld.”
