तत्र देवास्त्वभाषन्त चारणाश्न समागता: । एतदन्ता: समूहा वै भविष्यन्ति महीतले
tatra devāstvabhāṣanta cāraṇāś ca samāgatāḥ | etadantāḥ samūhā vai bhaviṣyanti mahītale ||
There, the gods spoke, and the Cāraṇas too had assembled. They declared: ‘On the surface of the earth, these gathered hosts will meet their end here.’ The utterance frames the battle not merely as human strategy but as a fated culmination, where collective violence ripens into inevitable destruction.
