Sañjaya said: There we witnessed Sātyaki’s most astonishing feat—calm and unshaken, he fought alone against a multitude. The scene highlights a warrior’s steadiness of mind amid chaos, where courage is measured not by rage but by composure and resolve in the face of overwhelming odds.
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores inner steadiness (asambhrānti) as a hallmark of true valor: ethical courage in war is not mere aggression, but disciplined composure and unwavering resolve when facing superior numbers.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that they witnessed an extraordinary moment: Sātyaki, without fear or confusion, fought single-handedly against many warriors, displaying remarkable bravery and control.
