जयद्रथवधः — The Slaying of Jayadratha

Sunset Vow and Curse-Condition

संजय उवाच एवमुक्तस्तदा सूत: शिक्षितान्‌ साधुवाहिन:

sañjaya uvāca evam uktas tadā sūtaḥ śikṣitān sādhuvāhinaḥ

Sañjaya said: Thus addressed at that time, the charioteer—well-trained and skilled in proper conduct—(prepared to act accordingly). The line underscores disciplined service: in the midst of war, right action depends not only on valor but on trained restraint, competence, and adherence to duty.
