तान् द्रोणचापनिर्मुक्तान् दाशा्: पतत: शरान् | द्वाभ्यां द्वाभ्यां सुपुड्खाभ्यां चिच्छेद परमास्त्रवित्,द्रोणाचार्यके धनुषसे छूटकर गिरते हुए उन बाणोंको दशा्हकुलनन्दन परमास्त्रवेत्ता सात्यकिने उत्तम पंखोंसे युक्त दो-दो बाणोंद्वारा काट डाला
tān droṇacāpanirmuktān daśāḥ patataḥ śarān | dvābhyāṁ dvābhyāṁ supuṅkhābhyāṁ ciccheda paramāstravit ||
Sañjaya said: As those ten arrows, released from Droṇa’s bow, came hurtling down, Sātyaki—master of supreme weapons and the pride of the Dāśārha line—cut them apart, two by two, with well-feathered shafts.
