प्रयास्यामि तत: पश्चात्‌ पदवीं सव्यसाचिन: । 'दुर्योधनके आदेशसे ये निश्चय ही मुझसे युद्ध करनेके लिये खड़े हैं। कुरुनन्दन! मैं आपका प्रिय करनेके लिये इन सबको संग्राममें मथकर सव्यसाची अर्जुनके मार्गपर जाऊँगा

Transliteration

prayāsyāmi tataḥ paścāt padavīṁ savyasācinaḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya said: “Thereafter I shall proceed along the very path of Savyasācin (Arjuna). Those who, at Duryodhana’s command, stand resolved to fight me—I will churn them in battle to fulfill your desire, O scion of the Kurus, and then move on toward Arjuna’s track.”
