Adhyāya 74 (Book 6, Bhīṣma-parva): Bhīma–Duryodhana re-engagement and afternoon escalation
मत्स्या दुर्योधनं जग्मु: शकुनिं च विशाम्पते । द्रुपदश्चेकितानश्न सात्यकिश्न महारथ:
matsyā duryodhanaṃ jagmuḥ śakuniṃ ca viśāmpate | drupadaś cekitānaś ca sātyakiś ca mahārathaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: O lord of the people, the Matsyas advanced against Duryodhana and also against Śakuni; and Drupada, Cekitāna, and the great chariot-warrior Sātyaki as well (moved into action). The verse highlights the coordinated resolve of allied kings and heroes as the battle-lines form, showing how leadership and counsel (for good or ill) draw corresponding opposition on the field of dharma and war.
