Sanjaya said: In due season, male and female pairs are born together and grow together. Their form and qualities are alike, and even their outward appearance and dress are the same—underscoring a natural parity at the very origin of life.

The verse highlights an original parity in creation: male and female arise together, develop together, and share comparable form, qualities, and outward appearance—suggesting ethical reflection on equality and mutuality rather than hierarchy.
Sanjaya is describing a general principle of generation and growth—how paired beings come into existence simultaneously and mature together—within his broader report and reflections in Bhishma Parva.
