ते त्वरध्वं महावीर्या: कि चिरेण प्रयामहे । महान हि वर्तते रौद्र: संग्रामो लोमहर्षण:,“महापराक्रमी वीरो! जल्दी करो। विलम्बसे क्या लाभ? हमें जल्दी चलना चाहिये; क्योंकि वह संग्राम अत्यन्त भयंकर तथा रोमांचकारी है
te tvaradhvaṁ mahāvīryāḥ ki cireṇa prayāmahe | mahān hi vartate raudraḥ saṅgrāmo lomaharṣaṇaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “Hurry on, O mighty heroes! Why should we go with delay? We must proceed at once, for a great battle is underway—fierce and terrifying, one that makes the hair stand on end.”
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores timely action and alertness in moments of grave consequence: when a decisive and dangerous duty is unfolding, hesitation can become a moral and practical failure.
Sañjaya, narrating events, urges the warriors to move quickly because a massive, terrifying battle has already begun and demands immediate engagement.
