हेमकूटस्तु सुमहान् कैलासो नाम पर्वत: । यत्र वैश्रवणो राजन् गुहाकैः सह मोदते,राजन! विशाल पर्वत हेमकूट ही कैलास नामसे प्रसिद्ध है। जहाँ कुबेर गुह्कोंके साथ सानन्द निवास करते हैं
Hemakūṭas tu sumahān kailāso nāma parvataḥ | yatra vaiśravaṇo rājan guhākaiḥ saha modate ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, there is a very great mountain called Kailāsa—also known as Hemakūṭa—where Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera) dwells joyfully in the company of the Guhyakas.”
संजय उवाच
