तया ह्युत्पादित: पुण्य: स हद: सागरोपम: । तां धारयामास तदा दुर्धरां पर्वतैरपि
tayā hy utpāditaḥ puṇyaḥ sa hradaḥ sāgaropamaḥ | tāṃ dhārayāmāsa tadā durdharāṃ parvatair api ||
Sañjaya said: By her, a sacred lake was brought forth—vast like the ocean. And then he bore and contained that force, though it was so difficult to sustain that even mountains could scarcely have held it. The passage underscores the moral grandeur of a holy act that generates immense power, and the corresponding responsibility and self-mastery required to restrain and uphold what has been produced.
