शक्ति विनिहतां दृष्टवा धृष्टद्युम्न: प्रतापवान् । ववर्ष शरवर्षाणि द्रोणं प्रति जनेश्वर,जनेश्वर! अपनी शक्तिको नष्ट हुई देख प्रतापी धृष्टद्युम्नने द्रोणाचार्यपर पुनः बाणोंकी वर्षा आस्मभ कर दी
sañjaya uvāca | śaktiṁ vinihatāṁ dṛṣṭvā dhṛṣṭadyumnaḥ pratāpavān | vavarṣa śaravarṣāṇi droṇaṁ prati janeśvara ||
Sanjaya said: Seeing his spear-weapon rendered useless, the valiant Dhrishtadyumna, O lord of men, poured forth a renewed storm of arrows against Drona—driven by resolve and the relentless momentum of battle.
