संक्रुद्ध: कृष्णसहित: पार्थ: किमकरोद्‌ युधि । संजय! मेरा तो विश्वास है कि दुर्योधनपर घोर संकट प्राप्त होनेवाला है। श्वेतके मारे जाने और भीष्मकी विजय होनेसे अत्यन्त क्रोधमें भरे हुए श्रीकृष्णसहित अर्जुनने युद्धसस्‍्थलमें क्या किया? ।। १३ है || अर्जुनाद्धि भयं भूयस्तन्मे तात न शाम्यति,तात! अर्जुनसे मुझे अधिक भय बना रहता है और वह भय कभी शान्त नहीं होता; क्योंकि कुन्ती-नन्दन अर्जुन शूरवीर तथा शीघ्रतापूर्वक अस्त्र संचालन करनेवाला है। मैं समझता हूँ कि वह अपने बाणोंद्वारा शत्रुओंके शरीरोंको मथ डालेगा

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | arjunād dhi bhayaṃ bhūyas tan me tāta na śāmyati | tāta! arjunaḥ śūro vegavān āśu śastrapravartakaḥ | manye śarair ariśarīrāṇi mathayiṣyati ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “My fear of Arjuna only grows, my son, and it does not subside. For Arjuna, Kuntī’s son, is a heroic warrior, swift and quick in the handling of weapons. I believe he will churn and tear apart the bodies of his enemies with his arrows.”
