Daivī–Āsurī Sampad-Vibhāga (दैवी–आसुरी संपद्विभागः) | Division of Constructive and Destructive Dispositions
सम्बन्ध-- परमात्माको प्राप्त हुए सिद्ध भ्क्तोंके लक्षण बतलाकर अब उन लक्षणोंको आदर्श मानकर बड़े प्रयत्नके साथ उनका भलीभाँति सेवन करनेवाले, परम श्रद्धालु, शरणायत भक्तोंकी प्रशंसा करनेके लिये, उनको अपना अत्यन्त प्रिय बतलाकर भगवान् इस जअध्यायका उपसंद्यार करते हैं-- ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते । श्रद्धाना मत्परमा भक्तास्ते5तीव मे प्रिया:,परंतु जो श्रद्धायुक्त पुरुष मेरे परायण होकर इस ऊपर कहे हुए धर्ममय अमृतकोर निष्काम प्रेम-भावसे सेवन करते हैं, वे भक्त मुझको अतिशय प्रिय हैं:
ye tu dharmyāmṛtam idaṁ yathoktaṁ paryupāsate | śraddadhānā matparamā bhaktās te ’tīva me priyāḥ ||
But those who, with faith, make Me their supreme goal and diligently live by this nectar of dharma exactly as it has been taught—those devoted ones are exceedingly dear to Me. Ethically, the verse crowns the teaching by praising steadfast practice: not mere admiration of principles, but faithful, sustained embodiment of the dharmic path in devotion.
अजुन उवाच
The core teaching is that God values faithful, sustained practice of the dharmic teaching—living it as instructed—more than mere knowledge or admiration; such devotees, who hold the Divine as their highest goal, become especially dear.
At the close of this teaching section, Kṛṣṇa summarizes by praising the devotees who adopt and practice the ‘nectar of dharma’ just as taught, marking them as supremely beloved—an affirming conclusion meant to inspire committed observance.
