दिवि सूर्यसहस्रस्य भवेद् युगपदुत्थिता । यदि भा: सदृशी सा स्याद् भासस्तस्य महात्मन:,आकाशकमें हजार सूर्योके एक साथ उदय होनेसे उत्पन्न जो प्रकाश हो, वह भी उस विश्वरूप परमात्माके प्रकाशके सदृश कदाचित् ही होः
divi sūrya-sahasrasya bhaved yugapad utthitā | yadi bhāḥ sadṛśī sā syād bhāsas tasya mahātmanaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: If, in the sky, the radiance produced by a thousand suns were to rise all at once, even that might only faintly resemble the splendor of that great-souled Lord’s universal form. The verse underscores the moral awe and devotional reverence evoked by the divine revelation amid the crisis of war, where human judgment is humbled before a higher, cosmic order.
