विभूति-योगः (Vibhūti-yoga) — Exemplary Manifestations as a Contemplative Index

अधिभूतं क्षरो भाव: पुरुषश्चाधिदैवतम्‌ । अधियज्ञो5हमेवात्र देहे देहभूतां वर

adhibhūtaṃ kṣaro bhāvaḥ puruṣaś cādhidaivatam | adhiyajño 'ham evātra dehe dehabhṛtāṃ vara ||

Arjuna said: “O best among embodied beings, what is called the ‘adhibhūta’ is the perishable mode of existence; the ‘adhidaivata’ is the cosmic Person. And here, within this body, I myself am the ‘adhiyajña’—the indwelling Lord who receives and sanctifies sacrifice.”
