At the time of departure from life, one whose mind is steady, who is united with devotion and strengthened by the power of yoga, and who properly fixes the life-breath in the space between the eyebrows—such a person attains the radiant Supreme Person, the eternal Reality. In the ethical frame of the Gītā’s battlefield teaching, this describes the disciplined inner orientation that makes one’s final moment a culmination of lifelong practice rather than a collapse into fear or confusion.
