अक्षरब्रह्मयोगः | Akṣara-Brahma-Yoga

The Yoga of the Imperishable Brahman

शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्प स्थिरमासनमात्मन: । नात्युच्छितं नातिनीचं चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरम्‌,शुद्ध भूमिमें,/ जिसके ऊपर क्रमश: कुशा, मृगछाला और वस्त्र बिछे हैं, जो न बहुत ऊँचा है और न बहुत नीचा, ऐसे अपने आसनको स्थिर स्थापन करके “7

śucau deśe pratiṣṭhāpya sthiram āsanam ātmanaḥ | nātyucchritaṁ nātinīcaṁ cailājinakuśottaram ||

Arjuna said: “In a clean and pure place, one should set up a firm seat for oneself—neither too high nor too low—prepared with kuśa grass, a deer-skin, and a cloth laid in proper order. Thus established, the practitioner begins the discipline with steadiness and reverence, grounding inner practice in outer purity and moderation.”
