उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents

स मुहूर्त तथा ध्यात्वा पुनरेवाब्रवीद् वच: । असंशयं पार्थिवेन्द्र काल: संक्षिपते जगत्
Transliteration
sa muhūrtaṃ tathā dhyātvā punar evābravīd vacaḥ | asaṃśayaṃ pārthivendra kālaḥ saṃkṣipate jagat ||
Translation
Having reflected for a brief while, he spoke again: “O lord of the earth, without doubt Time is contracting the world—bringing all things swiftly toward their end.”
