Adhyāya 112: Bhīṣma-prati Arjunasya Pravṛttiḥ
Arjuna’s Forward Drive Toward Bhīṣma
सात्यकिश्रेकितानश्च माद्रीपुत्रो च पाण्डवौ । अभिमन्यु: सुविक्रान्तो वाहिनीं द्रवते मम
sātyakiśrekitānaś ca mādrīputro ca pāṇḍavau | abhimanyuḥ suvikrānto vāhinīṃ dravate mama ||
Sañjaya said: “Sātyaki and Śrekitāna, and the Pāṇḍava who is Mādrī’s son, along with the exceedingly valiant Abhimanyu—these are now driving my army into flight.” In the moral atmosphere of the war-report, the line underscores how prowess joined with resolve can break a larger force, and how the tide of battle turns when disciplined heroes press forward without wavering.
