समाभाष्यैवमपरं प्रगृह्म रुचिरं धनु: । मुमोच समरे भीष्म: शरान् पार्थरथं प्रति,“महाबाहो! कुन्तीकुमार! बहुत अच्छा, बहुत अच्छा, तुम्हें साधुवाद।” ऐसा कहकर भीष्मने पुनः दूसरा सुन्दर धनुष लेकर समरांगणमें अर्जुनके रथकी ओर बाणोंकी वर्षा आरम्भ कर दी
samābhāṣyaivam aparaṁ pragṛhya ruciraṁ dhanuḥ | mumoca samare bhīṣmaḥ śarān pārtharathaṁ prati |
Sañjaya said: Having thus addressed him again, Bhīṣma took up another splendid bow and, in the midst of battle, released a volley of arrows toward the chariot of Pārtha (Arjuna).
