भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय

प्रययौं सदनं राजा गाड्रेयस्य यशस्विन: । अन्वीयमान: सततं सोदरै: परिवारित:,इस प्रकार कौरवोंसे पृूजित हो महाबली कौरवराज दुर्योधन यशस्वी भीष्मके शिविरमें गया। उसके भाई उसे घेरकर निरन्तर उसीके साथ-साथ रहे

prayayau sadanaṃ rājā gāḍreyasya yaśasvinaḥ | anvīyamānaḥ satataṃ sodaraiḥ parivāritaḥ ||

Honoured by the Kauravas, the mighty Kuru king Duryodhana proceeded to the illustrious Bhīṣma’s camp. His brothers, surrounding him, accompanied him continuously—signalling solidarity and collective resolve as the war’s leadership and counsel gathered around Bhīṣma.
