यान्‌ समुद्दिश्य संकल्प: पयसो<स्य कृतो मया । पितरस्ते महाभागास्तेभ्यो बुद्धयस्व गम्यताम्‌,मैंने जिन पितरोंके उद्देश्यसे इस दूधका संकल्प किया था, वे महाभाग पितर ही उसके स्वामी हैं। जाओ, उन्हींसे इस विषयमें समझो

yān samuddiśya saṅkalpaḥ payaso 'sya kṛto mayā | pitaras te mahābhāgās tebhyo buddhyasva gamyatām ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “Those blessed Pitṛs for whose sake I made this solemn resolve concerning this milk—those venerable ancestors are its rightful recipients. Go; seek understanding about this matter from them.”
